Local artist creates for Celebration of Nativities

Pat Hines, Newton KS artist/sculptor, created this full-sized Nativity especially for the Celebration of Nativities.

The faces are of sculpted clay, fired and painted. The bodies are paper mache covered with starched cloth.

The Celebration of Nativities is held annually in December at the Trinity Heights UMC, West 12th at Boyd, Newton, Kansas.
